In the morning of the selected day you will be picked by our representative from the location of your choice and then your journey to Agra will begin.

The first spot which you will be covering will be the one for which Agra is well known i.e. the Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal- Made from white marble, it took 20 years to build this grand mausoleum. The splendid Taj is the pride of India and it represents India in the world and is one among the Seven Wonders of the World. It is a symbol of the passionate love of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to her beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.

You can have lunch at a place of your choice in the afternoon.

Agra Fort- After sightseeing of the Taj the next spot in Same Day Agra Tour is the famous Red Fort of Agra also famous with the name of Agra Fort.

Built in 1565 AD, this fort is made with red stone and stands tall on the land of Agra, and Agra Fort is a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO. The fort used to be the residence of the great Mughal Emperor Akbar as Agra used to be the capital of the Mughals and houses architectural marvels like the Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, and the Jahangir Palace, etc.

Itmad-ud-Daulah- The next spot is the Itmad-ud-Daulah, it is a beautiful mausoleum made with white marble and looks impeccable.

It is another jewel in the crown of Agra. It is the mausoleum of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, the father of Noor-Jahan and grandfather of Mumtaz Mahal. Itmad-ud-Daulah was actually a designation given to him which regards him as a pillar of the state which used to be a prestigious position. This monument is often called the ‘baby Taj’ as it somewhat resembles to the Taj Mahal.

Later in the evening if the time allows, you will again visit the Taj-Mahal to witness the beauty of this white marble masterpiece when it shows even more colors of beauty in the subdued sunset lights and then the moonlight.

Later if there is enough time you can take a look at the markets of Agra and buy the miniature version of Taj Mahal made up of Marble and it is a tourist favorite when it comes to buying souvenirs from the Agra visit. And your tour ends with dropping you at the place of your choice.

Please note: Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays and entry during the evening is restricted during the month of Ramdan.
