Itinerary
As you arrive at Delhi airport you will be welcomed and greeted by our representative. Relax for a while in the hotel and then excursion of Delhi which is a perfect mix of old and modern traditions will begin soon. The tour spots will include prestigious world heritage sites such as Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb and then drive past India Gate which was made in memory of martyrs who sacrificed their life for nation. Later on visit Qutub Minar and then take a ride to the market of Chandni Chowk and Khari-Baoli where you can enjoy shopping. Afterwards you will be brought back to hotel for overnight stay.
Post breakfast, you will be leaving for Jaipur which is easily accessible by road. Upon Jaipur arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for a comforting stay. You can spend the rest of the day at discretion
Post breakfast you will start exploring culture and heritage of Rajasthan. First visit Amer Fort where you will enjoy royal Elephant ride and it comprises palaces like Sukh Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-I-Aam and Diwan-I-Khas. Later on drive towards City Palace which offers amazing views of the city and comprises Mubarak Mahal and Chandra Mahal. Then drive past Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar which is an astronomical observatory. In the evening visit Birla Temple built using marbles and devoted to Lord Vishnu and goddess Laxmi. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
On the next day after a refreshing breakfast you will drive to Agra. The journey will mesmerize you with the greenery by the road side and the colorfully dressed village folks. Once you have reached Agra, our representative will help you with the check-in at the hotel. You can have lunch and after this, one more chapter of your memorable journey will commence from the famous Agra Fort the World Heritage Site. After this in the evening you will have your most awaited moment, visit to the ‘Taj-Mahal’ and witness the beauty of the Taj during the sunset. You may also do some shopping of marble handcraft items from the local market. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Post breakfast you will be leaving for Varanasi, the cultural capital of India.
Upon your arrival at Varanasi, the oldest inhabited city, you will be transferred to hotel. After a short relax, time to explore the city of Ganges, which is believed to wash all your sins with a dip in the holy water. From the ancient period, Ganges is considered to be the most sacred river and it is mentioned in various holy books of Hindus. Witnessing the local life down the narrow alleys with their intense ritual practices is one thing you surely want to do. The city of Varanasi is considered to be the Hindu pilgrimage. People from all around the world come here to take dip in sacred Ganges and for the cremation of their family members. Dying here is considered propitious as it is considered as a direct way to heaven. In the evening you can witness the Maha Aarti on the Ghats of Ganges. The city at this time is lit with small lamps flowing across the river which is eye pleasing.
The following day you will be served the local meal as breakfast for a perfect start. Later you will be experiencing a boat ride along the Ghats of Ganges to get a glimpse of the local life there. Gentle wind, a boat ride and the people singing “sharing” is something you don’t want to miss. Later visit Bharat Mata temple that has a huge marble carving of undivided India, Alamgir mosque, popularly known as Aurangzeb’s Mosque and Sankat Mochan Temple, which has an idol of Lord Rama being served by Lord Hanuman. Later you will be visiting Sarnath, the Buddhist center where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma and witness various Stupas along with Ashoka Pillar. You will be visiting the museum and Deer Park too. Return back to hotel at Varanasi for a comforting overnight stay.
The very next day after having breakfast, you will be transferred back to Delhi from where you can board a flight for the onward journey.
